VASCO: Two-hundred and sixty-six UK nationals stranded in Goa took off for home from Dabolim airport on Thursday evening. This is the 24th such relief flight.
Immediately after the flight took off, Goa airport tweeted: “There goes the 24th Relief Flight from Goa airport with 266 pax for UK. The norms of social distancing, thermal screening followed meticulously. TEAM GOA now prepares itself and terminal building for next flight soon.”
As per the tweet, the Airport staff is meticulously following the norms of social distancing, thermal screening and also does the work of sanitizing, cleaning, disinfecting the terminal building premise and touch points regularly after each relief flight.
