VASCO: The Qatar Airways brought back home 277 stranded seafarers from London in the ninth repatriation flight which landed at Goa International Airport, on Tuesday early morning.
All the precautionary measures were strictly followed by the airport staff.
On Tuesday morning Goa Airport tweeted, “The 9th repatriation flight brought in 277 numbers stranded seafarers from London Tuesday early morning at Goa International Airport through Qatar Airways.”
Earlier on Sunday, in the 8th repatriation flight 247 stranded Indians landed at Goa International Airport, from Sau Paulo, Brazil.
Meanwhile, information received from the Dabolim Airport Director Gagan Malik the flight summary of the domestic flights on Tuesday was that the Indigo 905 Hyderabad-Goa with 29 passengers arrived to Goa and departed to Hyderabad with 33 passengers onboard.
In the second Indigo flight 6E 367 Delhi to Goa, 96 passengers arrived in Goa and departed with 162 passengers from the State.
