Calangute local averts fire tragedy
CALANGUTE: Alert action by a local prevented a major tragedy, when a fire broke out after a group of irresponsible Andhra Pradesh tourists began cooking in a guesthouse at Calangute on Saturday. According to sources, a group of tourists from AP were to check-in at two separate rooms, but were asked to rest in one guest room as they wanted to refresh themselves. The tourists hurriedly brought in their gas cylinder and stove and started cooking in the guestroom.
