29-year-old Australian national rescued from well at Vagator

Mapusa fire and emergency service personnel successfully
extricated 29-year-old Australian national Fleming Daniel Luke from a perilous
situation after he accidentally fell into a 45-foot deep well near Dom Rock, close
to the Julie Jolly Hotel in Vagator around 3:45 AM.

Firefighter Pravin Naik Gaonkar exhibited exceptional courage and played a
pivotal role in the safe retrieval of the tourist from the deep well.

The efficient and coordinated efforts of the rescue team were crucial in
ensuring the successful rescue operation. Sub Officer Dnyaneshwar Sawant
spearheaded the mission, providing strategic direction and guidance throughout
the tense operation.

The team of dedicated firefighters, including Vasudev Tate, Lavinder
Salgaonkar, and Akash Kalangutkar, worked seamlessly to support Pravin Naik
Gaonkar in executing the rescue plan effectively.

Behind the scenes, driver Nitin Chadankar played an essential role in
facilitating the swift movement of the rescue team, ensuring they reached the
