PANJIM: The second round of online admission for the first year degree programme in government and aided colleges, which are under the administrative control of the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) will begin from August 28, 2020.
In the first round held from July 15 to July 26, over 13,000 students had registered, of which 10,000 got admissions in various colleges.
The online admissions held through a common platform is for spectrum of courses including BA, BCOM, BSC, BCA, BBA, LLB, Music, Home Science, BSC/B.Ed, BA/BE.d and several others.
As per the statement issued by DHE, the students who have already applied in the first round of admission and are not admitted in any college yet need not apply again.
The student can change the college choice or subject combination in the application form by logging on to the online portal using their credentials received on email ID during the first round of the online admission process.
The students who are applying for the first time on online portal should apply through common portal available on https://www.dhe.goa.gov.in/ from August 28, 12.00 noon onwards.
Through this portal, students can apply to a maximum of two colleges of their choices across Goa with the priority option.
Students can reach out to respective colleges of their interest over telephone or through the online portal for further information.
The online classes for the academic year 2020-21 in colleges affiliated to Goa University will begin from September 3, 2020.
