3 arrested for cell phone theft at Colva

In a swift action, Colva police arrested three persons in connection with the theft of a mobile from a person at Colva last night.
The police led by PSI Anand Shirodkar cracked the case within 10 hours based on description given by the complainant, Noel Fernandes, a resident of housing board.
The Colva police said they have arrested one Krishna, a resident of Per-Seraulim and Suraj from Colva, besides a minor boy and has recovered the stolen mobile from their possession.
Police said that the trio came on a motorcycle last night and restrained Noel while he was proceeding to his room. The trio later sped away from the scene with the mobile of the complainant.
While Krishna and Suraj have been remanded to six days police custody, the minor boy has been sent to Apna Ghar.
The police are investigating.
