CANACONA: The tourism department has finally earmarked all three beach shacks near the main beach entrance to Palolem beach and the three shack allottees are expected to begin work to erect their shacks from Thursday.
According to reliable sources, senior tourism officials visited Palolem beach and supervised the allotment of all three beach shacks at a reasonable distance from each other.
Even though it was rumoured that some private shack operators would oppose the allotment of beach shacks at Palolem, sources inform that many locals are in favour of beach shacks coming up at Palolem beach.
