In the interest of ensuring the reliability and safety of the electricity infrastructure, the Electricity Department has announced a Power Shutdown in different regions in Bardez. The shutdown is due to urgent maintenance work, construction works and tree-cutting work in the mentioned regions. The shutdown will be in effect for three days from 12th April 2024 till 14th April 2024.
Below are the details of the Shutdown:
12 April 2024, at Madel, Tivim, the shutdown will occur from 09.00 to 14.00Hrs for the maintenance of 11KV Industry O.H Feeder
12 April 2024, at Colvale Housing Board, the shutdown will occur at 15.00 to 18.00Hrs for the maintenance of 11KV Industry O.H. Feeder
13 April 2024, at Tivim, the shutdown will occur from 09:00 to 14:00 Hrs for the maintenance of 11KV Tivim Village Feeder
14 April 2024, at Colvale IDC, Patto, the shutdown will occur from 09:00 to 14:00 Hrs for the maintenance of 11KV Power Grid Feeder
Areas affected:
The areas that are affected are Faz Colony, Duglas, Savrak, Ganpati Temple, Madel, Tivim Housing Board, Dhamade, Chaitanya Hospital and the surrounding area.
