MAPUSA: The Mapusa Police have arrested three persons namely Suraj Halarnkar(26), resident of Ecoxim; Samarth Shirodkar (24), resident of Nachinola and Samuel Dsouza(20), resident of St Inez, in a wrongful restraint and assault case of a bus owner Ramkrishna Chodankar of Carona, Aldona, which was registered in February 2020.
It may be recalled that Chodankar had filed a complaint at Mapusa Police Station against four masked persons for wrongfully restraining and assaulting him and further causing damage to his bus on February 27, 2020.
In this regards, the Mapusa Police registered a case against four masked persons under Section 341, 427, 504, 323 and 506 II of IPC. The alleged accused Suraj and Samarth had moved an anticipatory bail application which got rejected followed by which the police arrested the three alleged accused persons.
