PANJIM: The Goa government on Sunday appointed three senior doctors to assist Dean of Goa Medical College and Hospital Dr S Bandekar to handle the COVID-19 situation on a day-to-day basis.
Health Minister Vishwajit Rane took to his social media page to announce the new appointments. “Pleased to announce that we have appointed Dr Jude Rodrigues (HOD Surgery) and Dr Ajit Nagarsekar (Associate Prof Dept of Gynaecologist) as Nodal Officers to assist Dean of GMC Dr Bandekar on day-to-day administrations at @GoaGmc,” he posted on Twitter.
Additionally, Rane said, Dr Jagdish Cacodkar will be assisting the Medical Superintendent of GMCH with day-to-day administration of the government-run medical facility.
