PERNEM: Pernem taluka on Thursday detected 30 new COVID cases.
The highest number of cases was reported in Mandrem.
Five were detected in Pernem town, three in Morjim, two in Tuem and one each in Casarvarnem, Corgao and Torxem respectively.
Meanwhile, 18 new cases were reported in Mapusa on Thursday.
Nine cases in Ansabhat, three in Ganeshpuri, two each in Karaswada and Xelpem and one each in Shetyewada and near Mapusa court.
Three cases have been detected in the Siolim PHC jurisdiction, five in Colvale PHC and three in Aldona PHC.
