PANJIM: A week after re-shuffling of 16 police sub inspectors (PSIs), the Goa police effected transfers of another 30 PSIs Monday.
Sources said the transfers are effected to accommodate personnel in the crime investigation section, as the department has lately separated crime investigation from law and order at seven police stations, in its first phase.
In May, the department had shuffled 14 police inspectors and hundreds of head constables and constables, who had completed seven years at one police station.
Over a dozen PIs were promoted from PSI rank, while recruitment of several hundreds policemen of different ranks is underway.
