VASCO: At least 30 tourists were rescued from a boat that was on the verge of capsize after water had entered in due to strong wind. The boat was carrying the tourists to Dona Paula from Bat Island.
The boat was towed to the Baina shore with the help of two rescue boats and divers of Drishti.
Drishti services informed that in the afternoon at around 3.30 pm they received information that a boat carrying 30 tourists to Dona Paula from Bat Island was on the verge of sinking and needed help.
A team of Drishti divers immediately went into the sea and rescued the 30 tourists and brought the boat to shore at Baina beach.
