Shockingly, Kamakshi was allegedly murdered by her former boyfriend, Prakash Chunchwad, a 22-year-old who worked at a garage in Porvorim. Her lifeless body was discovered dumped at Amboli ghat, adding a grim reality to this horrifying story.
Authorities have revealed that Kamakshi’s tragic fate appears to have been sealed when she decided to sever ties with Prakash. Just hours before her untimely demise, Kamakshi took legal action by filing an assault case against Prakash at the Mapusa police station. In response, the police obtained a written commitment from Prakash, assuring that he would not interfere with Kamakshi any further. They even offered to escort her home for safety, but she chose to leave with a female friend.
On Friday morning, Prakash Chunchwad, the accused, was brought to Amboli Ghat alongside a forensic team to assist in the recovery of Kamakshi’s body.
