PANJIM: North Goa Planning and Development Authority has received approximately 3000 suggestions and objections for the Calangute and Candolim land use map.
NGPDA chairman Michael Lobo said the exercise of suggestions and objections for the land use map had started six months back.
“Most of the suggestions and objections are that the houses are not mapped, the land is wrongly marked as orchard or the orchard land is marked as paddy field,” Lobo told Herald.
He said NGPDA has started site inspections and is doing the necessary changes.
“We have already conducted hearings in the matter. However, a few people have complained that they did not receive the letters in time or they were out of State,” Lobo said.
