Those beneficiaries who have collected the original documents and produced it in the bank from July 5, 2021 onwards have already been in receipt of the amount in their account under the scheme, it said.
For the smooth disbursement under the scheme and to avoid large numbers of gathering, the department has started issuing token numbers on a daily basis and accordingly the beneficiaries are called on a specified date to initiate the disbursement process.
On the day of disbursement, the original documents of Laadli Laxmi Scheme are handed over to the beneficiary, which has to be presented in the beneficiary bank. The amount will be credited in the beneficiary bank account, once the original documents are deposited in the concerned bank of the beneficiary.
Further, under the Griha Aadhaar Scheme, an amount of Rs 18.08 crore has already been deposited in the bank and disbursement is under process. There is no need to produce income certificates issued by the mamlatdar for fresh cases. The cases which are marked to be doubtful have to produce the income certificate issued by the mamlatdars. List of these doubtful cases is already available with the respective taluka mamlatdars.
The department has appealed to the applicants not to panic and has informed that every applicant, who is eligible, will get benefit under the scheme.
