CANACONA: In a special drive, Canacona police on Thursday arrested 38 persons from outside Goa for not filling the tenant verification forms.
Canacona police said as per SDM’s order it is mandatory to fill tenant verification form for persons of non-Goan origin staying or working in Goa and in a special drive they arrested 38 persons under Section 41 of CrPC from Palolem beach belt for not complying with the order.
Later they were released on a personal bond of Rs 5000, police said. A report under Section 188 of CrPC is being sent to the Collector for information.
