The exhibition will be open to the public for 4 days from January 30 to February 2, 2015, at the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium, Bambolim. Speaking to the Herald, Kedar Dhume, one of the organizers said that there were 85 companies from India and abroad. Despite the slowdown in the market, he said people in the State were still renovating their homes and these kinds of exhibitions provide a perfect platform for interested parties to meet and discuss.
The event is supported by the Indian Institute of Architects – Goa Chapter (IIA), the Indian Institute of Interior Design – Goa and Institution of Engineers India, Goa State Center.
Following the inauguration, the dignitaries were taken around the stalls and expressed keen interest in the exhibits. They were accompanied by Director of Media Promotions Pvt Ltd, Joseph Clive Sequeira.
The exhibition seeks to provide the general public a wide range of choice under one roof, to meet their needs, with an exclusive choice of flooring, wall claddings and roofing solutions, designer artifacts and home accessories, interior & outdoor furniture, electronics and appliances, building and construction products, home utility products, solar, etc.
and many other , thermal & photovoltaic product solutions, home furnishings, modular kitchens & sinks, make shift houses, security & home automation systems, engineering equipment, pumps, housekeeping equipment, agricultural & garden equipment, wired nettings, construction chemicals & accessories, aluminium ladders, art objects, paintings, sculptures, marble artifacts, electrical lighting & fixtures, bathroom & kitchen sanitary fittings & accessories, pavers, invertors & stabilizers, plywood, Timber, Laminates, wood finishes & coating, table & bedroom linen, carpets, quilts & cushion, curtains & upholstery, household cleaning aids and a number of other innovative products, etc.
The exhibition houses more than 100 stalls showcasing over 500 products and services of interest to architects, interior designers and builders, engineers, hoteliers, consultants and the consumer.
