PANJIM: Four Goan IAS officers of the Joint Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram and Union Territories (AGMUT) Cadre were transferred from Goa by an order of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), New Delhi with immediate effect on Tuesday.
Sanjit Rodrigues has been transferred to Arunachal Pradesh, Sanjiv Gadkar to Jammu and Kashmir, Yetindra Maralkar to Ladakh and Prasanna Acharya to Mizoram. They were among seven officers of Goa Civil Service who were promoted to the rank of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in March last year. Besides them, the MHA also transferred another four IAS officers from Puducherry. Two officers each have been transferred to Arunachal Pradesh and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
