PANJIM: Crime Branch has arrested four youth involved in prostitution activities and rescued three girls during a raid at Dona Paula.
According to the police, on Saturday a team of Crime Branch police personnel arrested four accused persons, Dipendra Singh, resident of Porvorim, Sajid Sheikh alias Bunty, resident of Betim, Sarfaraj Khan, resident of Ponda and Ismael Honaberkaddabi, resident of Caranzalem.
The four were caught red handed engaged in prostitution activities by providing girls to prospective customers at Dona Paula. While all the four accused have been arrested, three girls have been rescued and lodged in protective home in Merces. Police has seized 2 four-wheelers and mobile phones from the accused persons.
