CALANGUTE, APRIL 21
Anjuna police arrested four persons on charges of harassing tourists at Anjuna beach and at the flea market in the village.
Police have rounded up Riyaz Ali (34) from UP, Sana (45), Gaganna Krishnanath and Yakamma Krishnanath, all from AP, under Section 34 of IPC. PSIs Anant Gaonkar and Vidyesh Pilgaonkar are investigating the case.
Meanwhile, Sadashiv Virnodkar (35) of Bairo Alto, Assagao, has been reported missing since April 3.
Family members have lodged a missing complaint stating that Virnodkar is mentally unsound and Anjuna Police is investigating the case.
