PONDA: A brawl between two warring groups led to four of them being injured at Karai-Shiroda, on Thursday night outside a liquor shop.
Shodhan Naik, 28, from Kaarai who was severely injured is undergoing treatment at a hospital at Margao while Kartik Naik, Jayesh Naik and Sujay Naik were discharged after being treated at Primary Health Centre (PHC), Shiroda. Ponda police have arrested Akshay Naik and Ravi Kumar Kaul Gosavi, both from Pandegal-Shiroda.
As per the police, both the groups were involved in a fight under the influence of alcohol. The injured were first admitted at PHC, Shiroda and the accused were arrested at around 2.30 am.
