MARGAO: Maina Curtorim police registered a case of fatal accident following the death of 45-year-old Salim Ansari from Manora Raia on Monday in connection with the accident that occurred at Raia.
Salim was proceeding to Raia on his motorcycle and was apparently driving very fast. He dashed against a four-wheeler car that was proceeding to Manora. Sources stated that Salim was allegedly on the wrong side of the road. Salim was rushed to Goa Medical College Hospital (GMC), Bambolim as he had sustained head injuries and was unconscious; however, he was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
