PANJIM: The repatriation of stranded Goan seafarers continues with another ship scheduled to arrive at Mormugao Port Trust (MPT) on June 29 with 470 seafarers.
Ports Secretary PS Reddy said the Norwegian ship will arrive at MPT on June 28 or 29. “The ship will arrive from Italy with 470 seafarers from across Europe,” he says.
Reddy added that the government is in talks with many other companies for repatriation of the seafarers across the globe.
