PERNEM: Pernem Police arrested five Russian nationals including two minors for allegedly consuming liquor at an isolated place in Ashwem.
According to the police, they received a call at 7.20 pm on Sunday informing that five Russian nationals are having party at Ashwem. Immediately, a team lead by PSI Vivek Halarnkar rushed to the spot and detained the five Russian youth who were allegedly consuming liquor at one isolated place, at Ashwem.
The police informed that all the alleged accuse were also not wearing the face masks.
Further, during interrogation, the police learnt that out of the five Russians, two girls were minors, aged between 14 and 16 years, and were residing in Arambol jurisdiction.
The police booked all five under Section 188, 269, 290 read with 34 of IPC and have submitted a report of the incident to Juvenile Justice Board.
Russian Consulate will be also informed, the police said.
