Traffic Police have recorded 580 speed-limit violations on the Porvorim flyover within 10 days of installing speed cameras.
Vehicle owners whose vehicles were found exceeding the prescribed speed limit are being alerted through SMS, while challans are being issued for the violations. The cameras have been installed to monitor compliance with speed restrictions and improve road safety on the flyover.
