MAPUSA: Revolutionary Goans on Wednesday exposed how several bogus voters have been registered fraudulently in Guirim during their on-going process of verifying the Saligao Constituency electoral roll 2021.

Revolutionary Goans leader from Saligao, Rohan Kalanagutkar condemned the politicians for fostering migrant vote banks in their respective constituencies.
He also demanded that the Booth Level Officers (BLO) and the Electoral Registration office should verify adequately the details of the applicants before enrolling them as voters in the State.
“The influx of migrants in Goa is alarming and needs to be downsized. In Saligao constituency itself there are around 5000 plus odd migrant voters. During the verification of the electoral roll 2021, we noticed that in Guirim there were several bogus voters registered without any house number and bearing fake addresses. How is the BLO allowing this to happen,” Rohan questioned.
