PANJIM: The Town and Country Planning (TCP) Department has ‘corrected’ 60,904 square metres of land across the State from paddy fields, natural cover, orchards etc to settlement zones in Regional Plan 2021 using provisions under Section 17(2) of TCP Act.
Land admeasuring 550 square metres land surveyed under Survey No. 150, sub-division No. 1, of village Assagao earmarked as Natural Cover.
Area of 9,995 square metres surveyed under Survey No. 631, sub-division No. 3-A, Plot Z of Village Shiroda earmarked as Orchard. 10,608 sq mtrs land surveyed under Survey No. 631, sub-division No. 3-A, Plot X of Village Shiroda, earmarked as Orchard.
Land admeasuring 25,225 sq mtrs land surveyed under Survey No. 24, sub-division No. 1, Plot C of Village Corjuem, Bardez earmarked as Orchard. 900 sq mtrs land surveyed under Survey No. 18, sub-division No. 10, of Village Anjuna earmarked as Natural Cover with Irrigation Command Area.
Area of 1,042 sq mtrs surveyed under Survey No. 35, sub-division No. 2-A-4, of Village Corjuem, Bardez earmarked as Paddy Field. 1,957 sq mtrs land surveyed under Survey No. 143, sub-division No. 6, of Village Moira earmarked as Orchard.
Land admeasuring 4,562 sq mtrs land surveyed under Survey No. 631, sub-division No. 3-A, Plot Y of Village Shiroda earmarked as Orchard. 2,058 sq mtrs land surveyed under Survey No. 86, sub-division No. 16, of Village Marra, Bardez earmarked as Orchard.
Land admeasuring 4,007 sq mtrs land surveyed under Survey No. 12, sub-division No. 3, of Village Colvale earmarked as Partly Natural Cover, Partly Natural Cover with No Development Slope as per Regional Plan Goa- 2021 have all been corrected as settlement zone.
