69 get govt jobs on compassionate grounds

PANJIM: The State government on Wednesday granted government jobs to 69 applicants on compassionate grounds. The government has so far approved 512 such cases. 
In a statement issued, it has been said that the government has approved 69 cases of compassionate applicants and have been placed in various departments. 
It further said that Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar presented recommendation letters to a few candidates at his residence on December 2, while the rest were handed over by Additional Secretary Personnel, Yetindra Maralkar, Additional Secretary Law Sharad Marathe and under secretary Personnel Harish Adconkar. 
Of the 69 cases, 35 were under the unreserved category, 24 were from the other backward class (OBC) and 10 Schedule tribes (ST).
