MARGAO . A 71-year-old man from Arlem Raia was found lying unconscious in a trench filled with running rain water at Arlem .Maina Curtorim police said that he was retrieved from the trench and shifted to the South Goa District Hospital but was declared brought dead by the doctor on duty.
Police said that primary inquiry revealed that deceased must have accidentally fallen into the trench and died.
His body has been preserved at South Goa District Hospital morgue at Margao.
