PANJIM: Legal Metrology Department in a raid conducted in Panjim seized 713 electronic speed limiters worth Rs 77 lakh on Tuesday.
The raid was conducted on Rosmerta Autotech Pvt Ltd. Legal Metrology Inspector Nitin Purushan said the dealer had stocked goods without the complete address of manufacturer or packer or importer and date of manufacture.
Officials said the speed limit kits are to be fitted in heavy commercial vehicles as speed governors.
