PANJIM: The State government on Wednesday effected transfers of eight senior scale officers of Goa Civil Service.
Director of Mines & Geology Ashutosh Apte has been replaced by Arvind Budge, who will hold the charge of Mines Department in addition to his existing Department of Handicraft, Textile and Coir. Apte is now the Inspector General of Prisons with additional charge of MD Goa State SC & OBC Finance Development.
Managing Director of Goa Human Resource Development Corporation Derrick Neto has been posted as MD of Goa Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) with additional charge of MD Goa Human Resource Development Corporation while MD GIDC S V Naik is given the charge as MD of Goa Education Development Corporation (GEDC).
Neetal Amonkar, MD of GEDC is posted as Secretary, Goa Human Rights Commission (GHRC) whereas Commissioner of Commercial Taxes Deepak Bandekar is now the Director of Industries, Trade & Commerce replacing V P Dangui, who is transferred as Joint Secretary to Chief Minister. Vinesh Arlekar, who was awaiting posting, has been made the Director of Settlement and Land Records.
