CUNCOLIM : Eight people were injured in an accident reported at Akamol- Ambaulim on Monday.
Suresh Laad, the driver of the Cuncolim-Curchorem bound bus, passengers – Meeta D’Costa, Narayan Velip and Paik Velip, who sustained grievous injuries, were admitted to Hospicio.
Four other passengers were discharged after being administered First Aid at Balli and Quepem PHCs.
Quepem PI Santosh Dessai informed that the accident took place at around 9.30 am when the bus was on its way to Curchorem via Quepem from Cuncolim. The driver lost control over the bus and rammed into a compound.
The impact was such the bus fell on its side.
Quepem police conducted the panchanama and PI Santosh Dessai is investigating the case.
