8 Mangor youth held for gambling

Vasco Police late Sunday arrested eight youth from Mangor under Gambling Act near Gurudwara, Mangor Hill, Vasco.
police has provided the names of the accused as Latif Shaikh, Nagesh Harijan, Deepak Dalvi, Mehbub Kadar, Ablu Tilku, Mahesh Sinde, Shaik Firoz and Amar Imandar, all in their 20s and 30s, were arrested and later released on bail after a kin of the politician produced the bail surety.
It may be recalled that Vasco police in the past had shutdown most of the gambling clubs in port town, but recently rising number of gambling activities forced Vasco police to raid a club at Mangor on Sunday night.
