QUEPEM: Nine nominations were filed on Thursday for the upcoming Quepem Municipal Council (QMC) elections.
The nine candidates who filed their nominations are new faces.
They include Ward I (general) -Jagdish Damodar Gawali; Ward II (general) – Vinayak Gopala Bandekar; Ward IV (general) – Vishnu Shiva Naik, Milagris Fernandes and Piedade Dias; Ward VI (OBC women)- Pratika Madgaokar; Ward X (SC women) Nadita Prabhudesai, Shanti Pawaskar and Jayashree Pawaskar.
In all 12 nominations have been filed on the first two days.
