PANJIM: On Wednesday, three suspected COVID-19 patients were put under hospital isolation taking the count to 10 in the isolation ward of Goa Medical College till date.
As per the Health Bulletin released by the Director of Health Services, another three contacts have been placed under facility quarantine. The bulletin also informs that out of 180 samples sent for testing, 92 are negative and 88 are pending reports.
23 samples were tested at the GMC virology lab, all reported negative.
Goa is the first State to be COVID-19 free as all seven patients have tested negative. Three are now in home quarantine, after completing seven days of facility quarantine while four are quarantined at a resort in Candolim.
