PANJIM: Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) Benaulim candidate, Venzy Viegas, on Monday, launched a mobile number for Benaulim entrepreneurs to seek inputs and suggestions in order to create a manifesto facilitating business community members. Impressed by the Viegas’s vision for Benaulim constituency Saturnino Rodrigues, owner of Goan Sip and a prominent businessman from Benaulim endorsed Viegas.
Announcing the launch of a number (9851134134), Viegas said that entrepreneurs of Benaulim should call or message or WhatsApp and give their inputs for the manifesto. “Hoteliers, restaurant owners, taxi operators, or any other small business owner can provide their suggestions, and all suggestions will be incorporated into a manifesto and implemented over the next five years,” he added.
“In order to create a manifesto for businesses, development of businesses and ease of doing businesses in Benaulim, a Goan businessman panel will be constituted. It is the first of its kind in Benaulim and an opportunity to make a difference. This will be a confidential panel. This is a visionary dream for Benaulim, and its execution will be an accomplishment of that dream,” he further said.
Businessman Rodrigues said, “ The Benaulim business community has become weary of ‘Haftagiri’ and ‘Dadagiri’ as well.I hope Venzy Viegas can put a stop to this.”
