CURCHOREM: Goa Pradesh Congress Committee President Girish Chodankar on Saturday said that the proposed debate between power ministers of Delhi Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government and Goa Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government is a big drama to fool the people of Goa.

He was addressing the media after meeting the flood affected families at Daddem-Sanvordem on Saturday along with the LoP Digamber Kamat and youth Congress leaders.

Speaking further he said that the AAP and BJP party are the members of the same family and they are trying to divert from the main core issues which the Goans are facing

currently. “No Goans are interested in their power tariff debate as nobody has asked for it. Goans wants debate on three destructive linear projects of double tracking of railway line, Mollem power, road widening projects, cutting of number of trees and also on coal issues including unemployment, rising prices and Coastal Zone Management as this government sold our Mhadei River, finished tourism, stopped mining but they do not want to debate on these issues and instead are creating drama to divert and misled the people”, said Chodankar and warned them not to take Goans for granted as they are smart and wise enough.
