MAPUSA: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate for Mapusa by-poll Shekhar Naik has expressed confidence of winning the Mapusa by-poll on the basis of the feedback and response received from the people during his campaign.
Addressing a news conference on Saturday, he said that over the last three weeks they have carried out immense campaigning and received a good response from the people. He has finished nearly 100 percent of his campaigning.
The 2017 AAP Thivim candidate, Pradeep Ghadi Amonkar pointed out that the people of Mapusa have expressed their support towards Shekar. “We are confident that Shekhar will emerge victorious in the Mapusa by-poll and the flag of the AAP will fly high,” said Amonkar.
The AAP manifesto promises to find a solution to the problem of waste and traffic management, transportation, road infrastructure, law and order, health, administration, environment and other issues plaguing the Mapusa constituency.
