AAP criticises BJP over Tawadkar’s case

PANJIM: Aam Aadmi Party criticised Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant, State BJP and former minister Ramesh Tawadkar for his involvement in an assault case.

The AAP took pot-shots at Tawadkar for his involvement in an assault case happened at Chaudi-Canacona, in which now he has been convicted by the court.

The party member Sandesh Telekar said, “While Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant says he will stop the crimes happening in the State, his own ministers and party members are involved in the criminal activities.”

Telekar criticised the chairman of Goa State Commission for Schedule Caste and Schedule for his involvement in the assault case. Tawadkar also happens to be the State BJP vice president.

He said that the Chief Minister always says that his government will always try to prevent the crimes happening in the State. But the biggest parody of his government is, his own ministers and party bigwigs are involved in criminal cases and activities and having serious allegations against them.
