PANJIM: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday announced its second list of candidates ahead of the Goa Assembly Elections scheduled on February 14.
With this list of 10 candidates, AAP has so far announced 20 candidates, as the first list was announced on January 7.
Meanwhile, virtually addressing volunteers from Delhi on Sunday evening, AAP National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal urged his party volunteers to commence door-to-door campaigning and create awareness among the people on good works done by Delhi government. Kejriwal said he does not hold anything negative against any political party and that AAP should only run a positive campaign.
“For AAP, an election is not a medium to change government but it is a chance to bring about a change in society and the country. When you go campaigning, you need to realise that you are performing a patriotic task,” he said.
He said party hopping hasn’t changed the country in last 70 years. Kejriwal said AAP’s short tenure so far has brought in incredible change for the welfare of people across all the sections and sectors.
