PANJIM: Terming the recent spate of incidents involving
their members as sad, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia aaid that Aam
Aadmi party (AAP) is the only party
which takes strong action against its members.
Sisodia, who is in Goa for a three-day visit, told reporters
in Mapusa that the party has reacted strongly against the allegeations.
“The allegations levelled against our members and
ministers are sad but let me tell you we have taken strong actions against
them,” Sisodia said when asked to comment on the recent controversies
involving AAP members.
Sisodia said his party is the only one which takes action
against its members.
“People have understood AAP is the only option against
corription and illegalities happening in Goa,” he said.
Commenting further he also took a dig at the Bharatiya
Janata party saying they are in the process of saffronisation of entire
country.
Sisodia, who has been given charge of AAP goa desk, during the day visited places in Mapusa,
Thivim and Bicholim.
MEANWHILE, REACTIONS IN GOA…
“The controversies in Delhi will have no impact on Aam
Aadmi’s popularity in Goa. What has Goa got to do with what is happening in
Delhi. Goa is all about Goans and nothing else. I have not heard of Anna
Hazare’s comments on Kejriwal, hence cannot comment on it. As far as Delhi
scandal is concerned we were the first one to take action and have called for
the harshest punishment. On Ashutosh’s column, I think we have to give him
benefit of doubt as he wrote it before the lady filed complaint and hence he
felt it was consensual.”

Rupesh Shinkre, AAP co-ordinator, Goa
“All the three controversies won’t have any impact on the
party’s performance in the coming elections. All these controversies are
manufactured by the other parties so that AAP’s image is spoiled in the
country. The corrupt BJP and Congress are trying to create an image in people’s
mind that AAP is an corrupt party. The BJP is feeling the heat that they might
lose their in the upcoming elections or even for that matter the center
elections which is due for 2019.”
