PANJIM: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Goa has assured affordable fish in Goa. Prices have been on the rise for the last one decade.
“The AAP government will introduce a scheme to be delivered through fishermen’s co-operative with infrastructural support from the government which will give fish at cheaper rates across Goa,” AAP said.
‘Fish for All’ scheme is one issue which the party has decided to commit after assessing the feedback, especially from women and housemakers across Goa that common varieties of fish have become rare on  dinner tables.
“Through this scheme fishermen will get better prices for their catch and people will get fish at an affordable price,” AAP assured.
Speaking to the media AAP Chief Ministerial candidate Elvis Gomes said AAP is sweeping the February 4 polls and will form the next government. “People of Goa will script doom and the end of the road for the BJP and Congress and all their politicians who tricked them for decades through the mining scam, innumerable land grabs and amassed huge amounts of unaccounted wealth,” he said. AAP government will bring them to book, fast track investigations in existing FIRs and prosecute the rogue politicians, he said.
