“First Prakash Javdekar dodged media on Mhadei and now Congress desk incharge Dinesh Gundu Rao did the same. We would like to tell people of Goa that newly-appointed Goa Congress in charge Dinesh Gundu Rao who was seen supporting Karnataka farmers on the Mhadei water issue in news article published in 2019. It is apparent that both Congress and BJP are using Goa for their national level politics and in bargain Goa and Goans are suffering. Both Congress and BJP have sacrificed Goans for their larger ‘objectives’”, alleged AAP state convenor Rahul Mhambre.

“AAP has always stood for this cause, Mother Mhadei has to be saved at all costs; we cannot allow BJP and Congress to play with Goans’ emotions. Now, what Congress has to say? It’s a shame for the Congress who speaks about Mhadei day in and day out to have man like Dinesh Gundu Rao as in-charge who could not take a stand on Mhadei issue to protect interests of Goans. Both Congress and BJP have absolutely no intentions to solve Goan issues. AAP is resolute to ensure that every issue will have the interest of Goa for Goans at the foremost”, Mhambre added.
