PANJIM: The latest report by Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy has exposed not only the lies that Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawat keeps uttering but has also revealed how badly he is managing the affairs of the State that it has dipped very low in the unemployment figures, alleged Aam Aadmi Party, on Thursday.
AAP Goa Convenor Rahul Mhambre pointed out that as per the CMIE report Goa is the third highest State with unemployment in the entire country. This is truly alarming, he said while pointing out that the Chief Minister has totally failed to attract any new investment.
Mhambre argued that the three linear projects, against which the Goans from every nook and corner are protesting, will convert the State into a coal hub and that will be the end of the tourism industry in the State as nobody will visit a coal dust covered State.
“Sawant’s promise of providing 10,000 jobs shortly is nothing but a sham just to fool the people on the eve of elections and none of these jobs will materialise once the elections are held next year,” he said.
