PANJIM: Aam Aadmi Party said that the CDM Smith bribe payments amounting to US $ 25000 to those in the Goa government have been proved by the US authorities and hence their complaint, filed with the ACB Goa and which was rejected, would be pursued with CBI.
AAP youth leader Gavi Coutinho said the party had filed a complaint with ACB but it was “unreasonably” rejected. He said AAP was in the process of moving the JMFC Court when it noticed that CBI had taken cognisance of the same and would now place the complaint before CBI. “There was no difference between the CDM Smith case with that of the Louis Berger case wherein the then BJP govt had accused Digambar Kamat, Churchill Alemao, their engineer and a havala agent who were arrested with only Kamat getting released while all others were under detention for long,” he said.
