PANJIM: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is all set to restart its “Veez Andolan” and its Delhi MLA Raghav Chadha will launch the programme, at Curchorem, on Friday.
Raghav will address a meeting in Power Minister Nilesh Cabral’s Curchorem Constituency, near the pickup stand, railway station, at 6 pm.
Raghav will also attend the programme on January 16, at Namoshi Junction, near GPS, Guirim in Saligao Constituency, at 6 pm. “The ‘Veez Andolan’ has received tremendous response from the people. AAP will reach every village in Goa with the ‘andolan’, creating awareness amongst the Goans,” said AAP Goa Convenor Rahul Mhambre while addressing the media persons. Raghav will also interact with the party volunteers.
It may be recalled that Raghav had accepted State Power Minister Nilesh Cabral’s challenge for a debate on the power policy. However, as Nilesh skipped the debate, AAP took the issue to the people through the ‘Veez Andolan’ which got tremendous support from people of Goa. The programme had to be stopped due to the Code of Conduct which was in force for the Zilla Panchayat elections.
