AAP volunteers confront Zuari bridge engineers

MARGAO: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) volunteers on Thursday confronted the site engineers of Dilip Buildcon, the company that has undertaken the new Zuari bridge work over excessive hill cutting on the Cortalim side along the NH 66.

The protestors led by Cortalim ZP candidate Pobres Vaz  raised the issue of unfinished road work that is set to affect the smooth flow of traffic during monsoon.

“Unfinished road surfaces in different stretches will pose safety problems to drivers, passengers and motor vehicles. Danger to motorcycles is even more, all because the company has shown a negligent attitude. The problems and traffic jams faced last year are still fresh,” the party charged.
