The AAP candidates of Cuncolim, Nuvem, Curtorim, Cortalim, Velim and Benaulim have recorded the highest number of votes polled for AAP. Benaulim tops the list with Royla Fernandes getting 4182 votes and leaving the sitting MLA candidate Caitu at number 3. However, it is bizarre to see the performance of AAP inversely proportionate to the meetings of Arvind Kejriwal and activities they had all over Goa.
Elvis Gomes the chief minister candidate of AAP did not cross the 4000 votes mark in Cuncolim. The Velim candidate of AAP Cruz Silva drew 3423 votes. The independents of Goa and the Goa Forward party which has its roots in South Goa, has become the King maker party and the updates on government formation will only be updated after all the parties have their meetings.
