AC outlets of GSHC in 5 towns next month

PANJIM: Goa State Horticulture Corporation (GSHC) on Wednesday confirmed that AC horticulture outlets at Margao, Vasco, Mapusa, Ponda and Sanvordem will be opened soon.

PANJIM: Goa State Horticulture Corporation (GSHC) on Wednesday confirmed that AC horticulture outlets at Margao, Vasco, Mapusa, Ponda and Sanvordem will be opened soon.
Speaking to the media after inaugurating the AC horticulture outlet at Altinho, GSHC Chairman and Tivim MLA Kiran Khandolkar stated that GSHC is in the process of opening horticulture outlets across Goa in the next one-and-half months and that rates at the store will be the same as compared to the non-AC horticulture outlets.
“Nowadays, people just don’t want affordable vegetables, they are more concerned about hygiene,” Khandolkar said.
Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar, who was present at the inaugural function, stated that AC outlets is a step forward that will provide fresh and hygienic products at competitive rates, almost Rs 20 to 30 cheaper than in other stores.
GSHC upgraded the outlet at Altinho into a modern AC super market selling a variety of horticulture products, daily essentials, cold storage and other items.
